A set that featured in the early days of this blog was the 1980's Topps set. As I explained back then, the 1980's Topps cards were the first baseball cards I owned -EVER. Cards #101-150 from the 2012 Topps Archives are in the 1980 design. So there is no better way to celebrate collecting all 726 cards from the original 1980's set but to try and collect the 50 cards available in the same style.

I like the remakes for the most part. What I can't figure out is why they REDUCED the team name font. To me, it makes the 'banner' weird-looking. Other than that, though, I like the 1980 re-make.
Sending Strawberry, Bell, Freese, Pedroia, Heyward, and Masterson with the package.
What? No love for the '84 remakes...I digress. I have Ike Davis, Brandon Phillips, Gio Gonzalez, Jason Motte, Dee Gordon, John Axford, Ryan Howard, Mike Napoli, and Todd Helton. Let me know if you'd like to set up a trade. You can find me at http://homeofthetoddfather.blogspot.com/
